Polarized Lenses

If you spend time outdoors, polarized lenses are your eye's best friend.

Why choose Polarized Lenses?

Polarized lenses are specially treated sunglass lenses that reduce glare. The glare reduction unlike direct anti-reflective coating is designed to stop bouncing light from things like water, ice, the road, the hood of your car and other objects that can easily reflect light. It is very popular with ourdoor enthusiasts and sportman alike. It is even sometimes called HD Sunglasses.

How Do Polarized Lenses Work?

Polarized lenses are specifically designed to block the reflected light from objects, but allow the direct light into your vision. Even though polarized lenses differ from manufacturer to manufacturer, the end result should still be the same, which is to block or absorb the horizontal light waves while allowing the vertical ones through.

Issues with Polarized Lenses

Polarized lenses are not without some faults. Any technological product available today that uses LCD or LED displays will be difficult to see wearing polarized sunglasses. Products like cell phones, gps, computer screens, medical monitoring products, etc may be difficult to see when wearing polarized sunglasses. Tilting your head sideways from one side to the next may sometimes may the problem worse so please use caution.
